AAA Indoor Athletics Championships

Ruth took a break from cross-country last weekend to run on the boards at the U20 AAA championships at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena. Racing over 1500m, she won the silver medal behind the reigning European 5000m champion Emily Pidgeon, in a personal best time of 4.35.57.

This follows on from the two national medals Ruth won last summer – silver at the U20 AAA’s in the 3000m steeplechase, and bronze over 3000m at English Schools.
